AYC Superyacht Recruitment (“the Company”) complies with Australian privacy laws according to the Information Privacy Principles and the National Privacy Principles, with regards to personal data and information collected through the website www.ayc.com.au (‘the Site’) and usage of the company’s services.

The Site is Australian based, and we take reasonable care to comply with the requirements of the protection of the personal information you supply. For the purpose of the protection, the holder and controller of this data is Australian Yacht Crew Pty Ltd, with registered office at 110 Goodwood Parade, Burswood, Western Australian, 6100.

Your Personal Data

The information gathered through the Site may include your name, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, email address, telephone number, and any personal preferences (‘Information’). Except as set out below, we will not sell, distribute, or disclose your Information without your consent or unless required or permitted to do so by law.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Updating your Information

If any of your Information changes, please notify us at the above Customer Services email address. You may change any of the basic Information we keep about you at any time by sending us an email to our Customer Services email address below.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Images displayed throughout the site have been sourced through the public domain and assumed to be available for ‘fair use’. Where applicable credit shall be attributed to the photographer or source of any media displayed on the site.

If you wish to seek claim to any media displayed on the site, request credit or removal please contract the site administrator for action accordingly.

Shop

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store. While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
