Terms and Conditions of Business

These terms and conditions of business outline the basis upon which ACRONAUTIC Ltd, an international maritime business company registered in the Seychelles and trading as Acronautic Yacht Crew, will represent individuals seeking employment onboard yachts and how the company will conduct business and charge fees with all employers.
General
Acronautic Ltd is a referral agency specializing in the advertisement and promotion potential employment opportunities onboard luxury yachts around the world. The company also offers a service of submitting crew for consideration of advertised positions or job orders received from employers. The services offered by the company to employers are carried out with an expectation of remuneration. The company will use all reasonable professional judgment to select the best crew available at the time for a job order based upon our experience, information available and professional history with each suitable candidate. Crew is sourced through word of mouth referral, industry publications and general marketing. Crew register with the company online and submit their details and can apply for a specific position through the website. Whilst the company and its staff take every reasonable action to ensure that the most qualified individual is presented it is strongly recommended that any employer verify the credentials and job history of any applicant prior to hiring.
Definitions
Company: Acronautic Ltd, an international business company registered in the Seychelles and trading as Acronautic Yacht Crew.
Crew: Any individual submitting their information to the company through any means in application or intent to source employment.
Employer: Any person, company, yacht, agent, representative or organization requesting crew from the company.
Website: The official company website is however reference also pertains to the below sites registered and operated by the company;
Job order: A request to find crew received by company personnel verbally, in e-mail, fax or through the website from a potential employer.
Services: Any form or act involving the company allocating resources, personnel, advertising, time and or efforts into assisting an employer source crew where applicable remuneration shall be sought
Submittal: The forwarding of or presentation of crew from the company to the employer by any means.
Permanent: Any position which does not have a fixed end date or intended employment of greater than 90 days.
Temporary: Any position which has a fixed end date or employment of less than 90 days.
Placement Fees
Crew: Free to register, upload resume and express interest in advertised positions of seek assistance gaining employment through the company.

Option 1: VIP placement service €2,500

Option 2: Resume submission €1,000

Advertising
Through the companies online presence potential employers can advertise a position and receive crew applications or expressions of interest directly.

Website
The Company makes information available to registered users through the website where they can browse available jobs, crew and employers through the internet. In acceptance of these terms and conditions the company may at its discretion register and create a profile on behalf of the employer or crew. Registered users or those in contact with the company may at any time request information be removed or modified in accordance with the privacy policy.
Confidentiality
The company agrees and assumes the intended discretion of an employer or crew and hence shall only disclose contact and provided information directly relevant to a job offer or service provided. Any user of the companies services may request a copy of the information held in their profile from the company and or that it be deleted without reason.
Warranty
Warranty shall be offered for VIP placements and only valid if the invoice has been paid in a timely manner and if the company is notified within 48 hours of the departure of the crew member. Warranty is offered if the crew member hired leaves prior to 60 days without cause or is terminated with cause a full credit will be made to the employers account for use against any future placement in the following 12 months
The warranty shall be void in any of the following cases;

Change in ownership

Change in captain or more than 50% of the crew

Failure by the employer to maintain a safe working environment

Failure by the employer to maintain a drug free workplace
Acceptance
Through the receipt of these terms and conditions they shall be deemed to have been agreed and accepted by all parties unless otherwise notified in writing
Jurisdiction
This Agreement is created and shall be governed by the Seychelles and laws of operating an International Business Company. Any claims or appeals against the company should be submitted and according to the Republic of Seychelles.
